Our Services
What is a Fiduciary and why is it important?
The term 'financial advisor' has become very misunderstood in today's changing and complex financial service environment.  Many people mistakenly assume their 'financial advisor' (i.e., stockbroker, insurance agent) has a duty of loyalty to place the client's best interests above their own.  In fact, most all product sales people have no such fiduciary duty to the client.

We are required, by law, to adhere to a fiduciary standard of care.  This means we are always required to place the interests of our clients ahead of our own.  The fiduciary standard is the same standard to which your physician, attorney, and CPA are held.  Hence, a fiduciary relationship is an ongoing professional service relationship, not a transaction based relationship.

Put simply, we believe adhering to a fiduciary standard of care is the right way to serve our clients because it requires complete independence and transparency.
Investment Philosophy
INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY - Simple, but not Easy
Our investment philosophy is driven by four simple factors that are grounded in logic, academic research, and statistical validation.
  • Capitalism is still the best system for the efficient allocation of capital.
  • Investment behavior (emotional discipline) is the main driver of investing success.
  • Framing decisions around compensated risk factors creates opportunities to build wealth over time.
  • Expenses matter.
